I chose this Paul Jones button up sweater style shirt for my husband. We have a trip to a family wedding later this summer. We are trying several different styles and new colors to change his look.

This Paul Jones shirt looks and feels high-quality. The seams, the way the sleeve banding and collar is attached creates a clean look. The shirt has a combination of retro and current that makes it feel very fresh. We chose the navy color with the rust and white stripe to go along with a rust undershirt.

We chose a XXL based on the size chart and it fits great. That means it fits true to size as my husband always orders a 2XL/ XXL. He is 6’3” and 230 pounds. He typically wears a size 34 or 36 waist.

I don’t want to criticize the quality of the whole shirt, but we did have a issue with the yarn on the collar having a tail and I really didn’t know the proper way to finish it off without causing issues later. I finally trimmed to ½” ( pictured ) and used a used heat hoping the polymide would seal the end like a nylon rope. This seemed to work perfectly. We also would like this shirt better if the pocket with the sideways stripes had been left out of the design. It droops slightly, looking a little odd. It is an interesting detail, but not quite to our taste. I am sure if it sells well it will prove we just need to adjust our thinking to fit the current looks in menswear.

In my photos I have included detailed measurements of this shirt in the 2XL. I measure areas where most sellers don’t, hoping that I might help someone that is hard to fit.
